The worst thing that can happen when you purchase a gift is if the person you’re gifting it to, can’t put it on!
Especially when it's a momentous occasion such as an anniversary, you’re not alone when it comes to getting the sizes wrong.
To be able to surprise your partner without letting them find out your plans is an ordeal already, much less trying to measure her ring size.
So here at Luccia Jewellery, we decided to come up with a comprehensive article labelling and explaining the general ways people size and how to read jewellery charts in Singapore.

If this is meant to be a gift, the easiest way to keep it secret is to measure the inner circumference of the item you wish to measure, such as bracelets and or rings.

Internationally, The UK, US and EU charts are standardised across brands. The ring sizes range from inches to millimetres and we recommend you bring a copy of the charts to your local dealer to ensure that your sizes are correct.
When measuring your sizes, you may want to consider measuring them during the evening time to dinner time as that is when biologically, our body is at its most swollen.
There may also be slight deviations between your dominant and non-dominant hand. So please make sure to check out the sizes irrespective of hands and fingers.
In the case of being in-between sizes, it is recommended to go for a bigger size.
Lastly, thicker fuller rings may feel tighter as it covers a larger skin ‘surface area’ as of such, trying on the rings are always a must and recommended option we should adopt.

Collar: Wraps around the neck/throat
Choker/Bib: Against the base of the throat/neck

It is recommended to use a measuring tape to estimate the length of the chain before making any purchase as the chart is a general estimation of the placement and is not a representation for all body types.
